We find in the Adikavi Pampa somebody who rebelled, wrote a poem praising Ashaadatta. By creating characters like Karna, we see the rebellious stance being created, the word 'dharapaya' meaning Dr. Basavaraja Sabarada says “rebellion” is derived from the Sanskrit word 'bandu'.
