Among the various inputs used in the process of production the co-relation between the credit and forest based inputs occupied a decisive place not only in third world countries but also in advanced countries of the global economy. About 43 percent of the total energy (wood fuel) consumed in the third world countries by more than 2 billion people is met from biomass fuel. This is equivalent to 22 million barrels of oil per day, which saved from its consumption.
