Self-confidence is one of the vital factor responsible for success of the most of the athletes. The present investigation was aimed to explore differences among three levels of the hockey players represented intervarsity inter-collegiate and inter-school levels. 300 hockey players (100 in each group) were recruited as potential subjects to explore differences on the dimension of self-confidence. ANOVA was employed for statistical treatment to the obtained data collected on Sports Self-Confidence Inventory developed by Kaul and Mittal (2003). Results revealed a significant difference among three groups of subjects wherein post-hoc test clearly revealed that university players had higher self-confidence as compared to school level hockey players and inter-collegiate level hockey players demonstrated greater self-confidence as compared to inter-school level hockey players. | Keywords : | | - performance.,performance.
