Abstract :
The Present research explores the effect of sex on self – concept and Locus of control of adolescents. The data is collected from students studying in four colleges of Islampur city. The sample consisted of 40 male and 40 Female students. The SCQ Test is used to assess self – concept of R.K. sarswat & LCS Test is used to assess Locus of control of Hussen & Joshi. The results indicate that Female students had better self – concept than male students. From this we get positive relationship between External locus of control and self – concept.
