Consequently, data mining consists of more than collecting and managing data, it also includes analysis and prediction. Data mining is used for producing predictive models that are helpful in decision making. In order to improve the efficiency of mining algorithm for the large data sets we are implementing Distributed Data Mining (DDM) which uses Message Passing Interface (MPI) so that different instances of the same process can communicate with each other. Then the proposed algorithm can be compared with existing algorithm to check the performance. Similarly the algorithm can also be compared to show that how distributed computing increases the performance as compared to single processor.
