It characterizes certain career attributes that individuals may possess like ability to work on a team, effective communication skills, excellent leadership skills and understanding of professional ethics. Experts believe that today a lot of professional students are unemployed as they earn the certifications, but the right attitude and values which are required in a workplace are missing. Thus there is a great need for bridging the gap between the skills delivered in academics and the skills required in a workplace. The training of soft skills helps the students to face the challenges in their workplace and for their professional growth in future.
