The experimental data were used to calculate excess molar volumes (VE), deviations in isentropic compressibility (s). These results were fitted to Redlich-Kister polynomial equation and the results have been discussed in terms of molecular interaction and structural effects. The excess properties were found to be either positive or negative depending up on the molecular interactions and the nature of liquid mixtures. | Keywords : | | - 1-Butanol
