The problem of Indian agriculture is mainly the water supply. Water is indispensable to agricultural production. In areas where rainfall is well distributed throught the year, there is no problem. But in uncertain rainfall areas irrigation is quite essention for cultivation. For the sugarcane cultivation there is requirement of regular supply of water.
