The main aim of the study was to explore the food preferences and dietary intake of college students pursuing their bachelor and master degree in an affiliated college in Haryana. Majority of the respondents (70%) were in the age group of 18-20 years and out of the total 91.66 per cent were Hindus. About 65 per cent of the respondents were in normal range of BMI. Most of the respondents were pure vegetarian. More than half of the respondents, (60%) skipped meal with substitutes.
