In relation to the family domestic work can be understood as women’s daily routine duty as well as her responsibilities.The aim of this paper is to assess the whether housework is traditionally women profession?. As per as the present research design was concerned this study being a descriptive one a cross sectional study was carried out in Gulbarga city of North Karnataka. During the month of September 2013.
