Thirty adult albino rats were divided into three groups; control group, nicotine group and nicotine + curcumin group. The rats in nicotine and nicotine + curcumin groups were injected intraperitoneally with 2.5mg/Kg of nicotine every day for eight weeks. The rats in nicotine+ curcumin group were additionally given 80mg/Kg of curcumin by stomach tube after 10 minutes from nicotine injection for eight weeks. Five animals from each group were killed after six weeks while the rest were killed after eight weeks. | | Keywords : | | - rats
