Caretakers who were ready and willing to extend their cooperation for indepth interview were selected as population for the study. Thus a total number of 60 caretakers were selected purposively for conducting the present study. The results revealed that 38 per cent of the caretakers faced relationship problems, more than half of the caretakers faced problems in child's physical care, and 33 per cent of the caretakers belonged to lower income group and 48 per cent were illiterates.
