The RRBs have taken a major step for rural households to come near to banking facilities. This paper attempts to analyses the issues of regional rural banks growth in India and Karnataka. The analysis reveals that credit borrowing, loan advances, branches, credit deposit ratios continue to be unsatisfactory. It appears that the RRBs are still hesitant on various grounds to purvey credit to small and marginalized farmers. The study period covers 1990-2010 and the data has been analysed with the help of Annual Growth and Compound Annual Growth Rate model and some descriptive statistical tools of selected RRBs factors.
