For the primary data especially designed questionnaire were used. For the selection of sample cultivators a list of flower growers was obtained from the revenue records of the selected villages. The required number of cultivators from each village was selected randomly. For the purpose of analysis, the farmers were grouped in to three classes on the basis of total holdings, small medium and large holdings. According to the 40familes were selected from the group of small 50 families from the group of medium and 60 families from the group of large farm size.
